TOPdesk has identified several SaaS software solutions of Swedish software company Hello Ebbot AB as complimentary to TOPdesk’s products. Therefore, TOPdesk has taken the initiative to engage in a global gold partnership with Ebbot. This allows TOPdesk to resell, integrate and support Ebbot Live Chat and Ebbot AI Chatbot.

Please note that the new sub-processor is only relevant for TOPdesk customers that choose to subscribe to Hello Ebbot products (namely Ebbot Live Chat and Ebbot AI Chatbot).

What does this change mean for your data?

When you choose to subscribe to Hello Ebbot products, some of your data will also be processed by Hello Ebbot AB. Since the data that will be processed by our partner Hello Ebbot AB will include data that is personal in nature (e.g. chat information, documents and personal information), Hello Ebbot AB will start acting as a sub-processor as defined under GDPR. Hello Ebbot AB products are hosted in one of Ebbot’s Public Cloud locations (customers can choose between OVHcloud (France and Germany) or Google Cloud Platform (Finland by default, other options upon request). Hello Ebbot AB uses the publicly available APIs from TOPdesk.

TOPdesk’s legal and security experts have reviewed the security measures of Hello Ebbot AB (as described in Annex 1 Sub-Processor Agreement between Hello Ebbot AB and TOPdesk) and concluded that they provide similar data protection measures as those implemented at TOPdesk.
